About The Treatment
Cellulite occurs when fat herniates through weakened and stretched surface layers of skin, producing a rippling effect. Cellulite effects around 90% of women and 10% of men and typically occurs on the thighs, buttocks and sometimes back of the arms.
Many people experience cellulite at some point in their lives and these unwanted dimple-like pockets of fat can often be unsightly and embarrassing.
Cellulite needs to be treated differently than normal body fat and the Cosmetic Sculpting Clinic employs a range of technologies that are aimed at both fat elimination, skin tightening and collagen production in order to achieve effective, tailored results.
What To Expect
Adipose tissue is irreversibly damaged through the application of strong vacuum technology and multi-polar radio frequencies. This combined application will destroy fat, tighten skin and promote elasticity and collagen production. You may experience a very mild discomfort, however, the vacuum pressure can be adjusted to suit your tolerance.
There are minimal side effects and you may return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. Some patients with delicate skin may experience mild bruising, swelling or redness but this will subside in a couple of days.
Results will be seen progressively from 1 day to 3 months after the first treatment. For optimal results we recommend spacing the treatments out with 3 week intervals and continuing treatments until the desired effect is achieved.
